Arsenal to sign Juventus striker Vincenzo Montella from Juventus

Juventus are close to completing a deal for Juventus striker Vicenzo Maccabiaga and will make a decision on his signing in the coming days, the Italian club announced on Tuesday.

The move will see the former Juventus man join the Serie A champions for around €18m (£17m) over the next three years.

Arsene Wenger will now decide whether to sell the 23-year-old, who has been in the Bianconeri squad since 2012, and Wenger will also be hoping to add another striker in January.

The club said Maccabees move was subject to “an advanced assessment”.

The transfer would be the third for the former Barcelona and Juventus star and the first signing of the January transfer window.

He joined Juventus from Barcelona in 2014 for €11m, but he was forced to leave for a new contract after just four months.

Arsène Wenger wants to sign another striker before the transfer window closes, according to a report from Sky Sports.

“We are close, and we will decide in the next few days whether to go forward or not,” a source at Juventus told the newspaper.

“Vincenato is the only one we have been negotiating with.”
